The project was completed in partnership with several other funders, with MLF being the first seed funder. Initial discussions around the project began in 2019 but was completed later as challenges due to COVID and post COVID-19, brought about.

Cape Grace receiving an award from the French Embassy

The award giving at the French embassy, further affirmed why we choose to support Just Grace. We have been working with Just Grace for more than two years and have seen the impact the organisation drives in terms of skills development, education and community building.
In the event, they are recognised for this impact by the French Embassy and receive an award while getting to present their projects.

Tsiba graduation

We often ask our project funding recipients for reports on their beneficiaries in order to assess long term impact of projects. We were thrilled to be invited to the Tsiba graduation, which gave us the opportunity to hear first-hand, what the institution is achieving and where their students end up. Many of their students are equipped to enter the job market with diverse skills that enable them to be employable and even leave the boundaries of our country and achieve success internationally.

Marvin Park Science Lab Handover

The effort put into the handover at Marvin Park Primary School in Cape Town, gave us a true sense of the gratitude and what this renovation meant to the community at large. We enjoyed entertainment by school choir and partook in a small handover and ribbon cutting for the science lab. The students proceeded to demonstrate how the equipment was being put to use. The school staff also emphasized that having a working science lab like this would have a positive impact for years to come, and encourage students to go into STEM aligned careers or studied going forward.
